On behalf of the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society, we wish to take this unique opportunity to endorse former Representative Eleanor Sobel in her efforts to win the Senate campaign for District 31. During Eleanor's service in the Florida House, she was a champion of women's health – always voting for and pushing for mandated benefits for mammograms, pap smears and direct access to your Ob/Gyn as well as fighting against legislation which would have raised malpractice insurance rates.

As the wife of a veteran physician, Eleanor realizes the importance of affordable, effective health care and will continue the fight to make access to health care a top priority. Furthermore, her background and track record as a City Commissioner, a Florida House member and a Broward County School Board member gives Eleanor the leadership credentials and experience we will need in the coming decade.

Please be sure to VOTE for ELEANOR SOBEL on Tuesday, August 26th. This is your opportunity to have a Senator in the Florida Legislature who will be looking out for your health care needs.

To learn more about Eleanor Sobel’s campaign, or to make a contribution, please visit her website at www.sobel2008.com.
