The Florida Department of Health is contracting with the Florida/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) to assist hospitals in implementing rapid HIV testing at labor and delivery, and to provide technical assistance in developing policies and procedures to offer HIV testing and appropriate treatment to HIV-positive women and their newborns.
