Call for Comments
The Society has released the first version of its new member internet website www.flobgyn.org. An ACOG grant provided the initial funding for this project. While the new site’s main focus will be on legislation and regulatory issues key to our members, this is only the start of this important technology tool. We plan to use the site creatively by developing customized features that will allow you to register for the annual meeting, pay dues, update your directory listing, and eventually build a personal webpage designed to promote your practice to patients across the state.
As the site grows, it will include greater levels of interactivity. For example, we plan to present special features such as physician online education programs, patient education resources and eventually a coding and reimbursement resource area.
Though an ambitious agenda, it will take time and much assistance from the Society’s Board and its members.
